Navient Loans App Reviews

This isnt even a real app. From what I can tell, this is just a "viewer" for the same useless mobile website youll find in a web browser. Even worse, half of the features either dont load, or the response time is painfully slow. Either re-do this properly, or remove it from the App Store, Navient.

The new version of this app is the worst. It doesnt even show your total balances. Bring back the old version. Also my due date information is incorrect. Not sure why its displaying wrong information. What made anyone think this was better? I was able to take care of everything on the old app now I have to go to the website to do so.

I like that I am able to make payments from the app and that it gives me information about my loans. What I dont like is that I have to put my user ID and password in each time even though the app has a "remember me" button. Whats the point of having an option to remember my ID if it doesnt work. Please fix.

I hate this app, PLEASE bring back a way to pay the loans individually! That was the only reason I used this app. Navient just doesnt want to give us that control. Now I have to send in the individual payments via snail mail and wait for a check to clear..... Hopefully they will read where the money should go instead of deciding to put it where they choose..... Im so irritated..... /:

It freezes and crashes. Whenever I try to login it freezes, and stays that way. Ive been trying to log in for a week now, just terrible.

Overall the app serves its purpose for me and thats to pay my student loan bill. I am a little disappointed that I cannot see my total loan balance on the app. That seems a little odd to me. I hope that the total loan balance will be added to the new update!

This app worked prior to the latest update. Now after the password is put in, it just sits at a totally blank screen. I actually used it once to make a payment, but now, nothing.

I want to be able to see how much in total I owe and from each category of loan. How much total for private loans and for federal loans. This app does not permit either of these functions.

Blank screen upon login attempt. Worthless app. Expected nothing less from Navient and whoever they hired to develop this app.

Every month I try and log in to GIVE YOU MONEY and it seems my username and password fail. I have to register again with a new username and password. Even when after that the app only loads about 1% of the time. I know you have been stealing money from most of my generation, the least you could do is hire someone to create a working app for us...

Nothing but low-lifes on this corporate ladder. All personal feelings about this "company" aside (I assume you can tell), this is a terrible application. Pages not loading, clumsy navigation and crashes just to name a few.

I entered my account information and never got past that page. Nothing is loading.

The screen goes blank white after I log in, so I am unable to view ANYTHING!!! I was excited when I saw that Navient had and app, but excruciatingly dissatisfied with it not working. I even re-downloaded it to see if that would fix the problem, it didnt. Navient has a lot of bug fixes to do in order for this app to be considered acceptable. 0/5 stars is what I would rate this.

This is the worst app I have ever used. I tried to submit an extra payment via the app- which took several tries to get it to go through. Well- apparently the payments went through even though the app just sat there. So, instead of me making one payment, 10 payments were registered. Total nightmare. I asked for a refund of the extra payments since it was a lot of money.... But of course that is taking FOREVER. Do yourself a favor and dont bother with this app.

It lets me get to the log in screen then goes white and nothing happens...

This is by far one of the worst apps I have ever used. I put in my user name and password correctly three times. It said that I was wrong and locked me out even though they were correct. Its easier to go to the navient log in screen on the web and then just save that to your home page.

Good App for making payments. The scale and layout needs some refinement. The input boxes could use some work in respect to giving the user responsive feedback with a the flashing cursor and deleting text. Other than that I just submitted a payment and all went well.

If you are looking for an App that just let you do payments then this is a good app for that, if you can log in. Have spent so much time trying to log in and the screen just freezes each time or goes white. I close it out and reopen only to have the same results. Super frustrating. Once Im actually in the app it isnt that bad, but getting in is the hard part. Needs to be updated to fix this issue.

The old navient website and app user-interface used to be very usable. This new version (which is not displayed in the screenshots in the App store - thats the old/ good interface) is really bad. Please, go back to the old interface which is far more user-friendly and informative. The new update makes me enter my SSN and DOB every single time I log in along with my username and password. The old version didnt require my SSN and DOB every time. Please, read this review and consider going back to the old user- interface or making a more usable one than this current upgrade, again, its really bad (I dont ever write reviews but this need to be known). If you consider it changing it, thank you.

I cant even get logged in on this app. No issues when I login online. They shouldnt even offer this app. Entering your login information is so frustrating. It removes the keyboard after each section so you can even tab to the next section. Just downloaded and Im about to delete it.
