Does what it needs to do! Works great for making payments!!

I logged in once successfully, but now the app wont even open to the log in let alone allow me to view my information or make payments.

Simply pathetic. Cant recognize you log in info and locks you out. Asked to reset the password and the new one doesnt recognize and says try again....just stay away. Instead just log in on their website....

You cannot view statements You cannot determine what kind of loan you have You cannot increase your payment / prepay your loan The login is ridiculously over complicated There are at least six payment addresses Theres circular logic in the statements: view it to determine your account type; yet you cant view statements!

Unable to save Login info or use Touch ID. No better than the website. I was also not able to apply a payment to a specific loan, instead could apply to two accounts. Promptly deleted the app on day 2.

This app is essentially Navients mobile website only with more glitches and navigation problems. Not worth downloading.

Theres a lot of negative reviews here, probably deserved. However, if you are like me with one loan provider, it gives you a good, simple overview of your balance, payment due, and recent payments. Recommended toward all students with government loans.

Every single complaint in here, is completely resolved in Great Lakes (except the Touch ID part, which is annoying, but is manageable), even to the point that you can actually e-mail Great Lakes with fix suggestions to their app dept! Does Navient offer you that? Uhhhh, no!! I finally consolidated my loans recently, and youre now able to choose your service provider between Navient, Great Lakes, or NelNet. Great Lakes was the obvious choice for me because the ease of their website, and now app, how much information they give you about student loans and the process to transfer, just amazing! Plus, for those of you who are on an income-based repayment program, Great Lakes has a function on the app that allows you to upload your docs right from the app, tell me, does Navient do that for you? Also, while Great Lakes are available Mon-Fri 7a-9p, central time (8a-10p eastern time) by phone, they are always available by e-mail. I just thought Id share how I am so relieved I switched. The new website is the worst. When making a payment it doesnt show you what you owe, instead you click on the detail and it shows your balance. NOT HELPFUL. Cant wait to be done with this company.

Too bad I cant give this waste of app space ZERO stars. Cant manage anything. Hard to make payments. Cant view a quarter of the information available on the website. Very clunky. And the updated version makes it even more garbage. Just use the website because this app will just make you pull out your hair.

This is just the website literally in the form of an app so they did not really put in the effort to make it very user friendly. One star for me

Ive ran into almost every complaint here to date, but the worst part is that *literally* nothing is clickable. The entire app is broken to the point of complete irritation. Just pass this app up and pay your loans in a browser.

Please revert to the previous version. Usually we see app upgrade for a more efficient and better UI and Ux. This new update seems to not do either and even the desktop site is annoying to navigate.

When I open the app, all I get is a white screen. Completely useless.

This app is completely broken. Not worth a download til Navient fixes its problems. Which by the sounds of it, will never happen.

This is literally a remake of the website (I actually got a "welcome to our responsive website" message). What is with these loan institutions and their inability to design an actual app? Please redesign it!

I mean its not bad...but its also not super top notch. Page loads without all info for a few seconds. Its identical to just accessing the mobile website on ur phone. Not built for an app--but again its not THAT bad. Works for me, payments and history and all.

This is one of the most useless apps Ive ever encountered. All it does is let me log in, but I cant click on anything after that. It wont even let me pay them! What a terrible app to not let me pay THEM!!!

This isnt even a real app - just a sorry excuse for a mobile website

Used to be able to pay loans individually, but no more. "App" is just the mobile site in a Viewer.
